Floatation therapy is a zero gravity experience, also referred to as R.E.S.T. (Restricted Environmental Stimulus Therapy) or “Sensory Deprivation”.
In the tank there is ~1,000 lbs of Epsom salts in ~200 gallons of water ensuring that you will not sink. While floating, the brain enters an elusive theta brain-wave state, associated with deep sleep and dreaming. Taking an hour of total alone time decreases the production of cortisol, a stress hormone, leaving you feeling refreshed and serene after the float.
Step into Relaxation
Achieve total relief during a 60- or 90-minute float session. Your SUPERIOR float pod or WAVE float room is located inside a fully equipped relaxation suite, which includes a private changing area, shower with shampoo and body wash, as well as a fluffy towel on a heated towel rack.
Choose to float with lights and music on or – for the ultimate sensory deprivation experience (which actually enhances your senses) – turn it all off. The water is heated to near skin temperature and 1000 pounds of Epsom Salt dissolved in the water allows for complete weightlessness. You float on top of the water with no effort at all, allowing you to be transported to euphoric bliss.
Claustrophobics Rejoice!
Many people who have claustrophobia deny themselves the benefits of flotation therapy because they fear the enclosed space of the pod, which has a lid that closes over the top of the floater. Our SUPERIOR Floats pod and WAVE float rooms are designed to be used with the door closed or open – eliminating the enclosed space many people fear.
Your health and safety is our top priority
Once you exit the SUPERIOR Float pod & WAVE float rooms, our purification systems (UV light and H202, plus a spa filter) immediately begin sanitizing the water, leaving it pristine for the next guest. In addition, each room is exposed to 3 minutes of UVC light, which research indicates kills any bacteria/virus (including COVID-19) on surfaces.
